"What a find! We absolutely loved our stay at Burry Port. The apartment was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Elaine has thought of everything to make a stay there as comfortable and relaxing as possible, as well as providing detailed information beforehand and for a smooth checkin and checkout. Very peaceful and a really comfortable bed. Gorgeous walks on your doorstep to the harbour and along the stunning coast path to Pembrey Country Park. We had lovely day trips to Llanelli WWT and a local free film festival, the National Botanical Gardens of Wales and took the train to Tenby and a boat trip there to see seals (and even spotted a puffin!). Would highly recommend."

"We had a lovely stay at the Lookout. The flat is beautiful and the view from the balcony is stunning. It has been the most calming and peaceful weekend away - cosy, clean and well equipped with everything we needed.

The beach is right on your doorstep, along with a great little crêpe place, and the train station and town are just a short walk away, making the location perfect.

I also loved the beachy decor — it really suits the flat and makes it feel very cute and peaceful.

Would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a chilled, relaxing getaway♥️"

"Clear arrival instructions with allocated parking at the entrance. The apartment is lovely, spacious and very clean and tidy. A great location for access to the beaches and the paved cycle and walking trail that stretches many miles in either direction. Elaine provides a very comprehensive local guide and lots of recommendations which was very helpful. Elaine was very clear when communicating, responsive and we felt in safe hands, no last minute messages. We would love to stay again."

"The View: just amazing!!! The Apartment is in a Perfect Place for the Beach. It is very well equipt- the only thing missing is a dishwasher which would take us up to more than Perfect! Very cool Communication with Elaine who let us check in earlier than arranged , and even found us an extra parking space at her neighbour‘s place. Very Sweet. Can recommend to anyone!!"

The setting is fabulous and the beach is beautiful. Even with classic British summer weather the beach is very atmospheric and great to spend time on. There is plenty to do nearby. We swam, cycled and walked. 

The flat is just the right size for four, was very clean and Elaine has thought of everything. The children confirmed their beds were very comfortable. We will be back hopefully!"

To top it off, it had a great balcony view of the bay and the surrounding area. Elaine was a great host and was easy to communicate with and very clear with her instructions/suggestions on how to use this little gem of a property. "

"My husband and I had a lovely getaway at The Lookout with our 5 month old baby and dog. As new parents we were looking for a place with lots to do within a short drive or walk, but with comfortable accommodation, set up for evenings in, and this was perfect for us. Some personal highlights were enjoying ice creams at Pembrey Country Park (approx 10 mins away), having bacon rolls from Cozy Coffee for breakfast on the beach, and enjoying cheese and wine on the balcony overlooking the sea. Special mention to Elaine for great communication before, during and after our stay, and a really thorough welcome pack that helped us make the most of our stay. This place had everything we needed, and was presented just as the pictures show."

"The apartment is immaculate, super spacious, comfortable, modern, super comfortable beds, super modern bathrooms, full kitchen, well decorated, space reserved for parking on the door, Welcome gift for my dogs (treats, balls), Welcome tray containing cookies, coffee, tea, milk. It's all high quality. The only thing that I would add is a dishwasher, but the rest is more than perfect, new and very well cared for. Very well located, steps from a shop that makes rivers of crepes and a dog-friendly tea room that we loved. Very close to the small town of Burry Port where there is a Co-op, fish and chips, a Greek restaurant, a pub, a bakery and the train station. From the apartment you go directly to the beach and the path. The dogs delighted with this last point. We loved the place and the owner Elaine 5 stars, very communicative and helpful."

There was everything you needed as well as little extras.  A very comfortable lounge and bedrooms. Lovely bathrooms with nice powerful showers. Kitchen had everything you could possibly want . The location was perfect for exploring, the beaches were amazing and even the weather stayed dry. The views from the apartment were another treat. "Amazing apartment and so clean! Showers exceptionally clean. I loved that there were local treats like the locally sourced ketchup and even treats for my dog! Kitchen was usefully stocked in terms ot items needed. We were provided with towels that were good quality and smelt amazing. Elaine gave clear and useful instructions about gaining access to the apartment as well as information regarding local amenities. A really good choice for us as a family and a welcoming environment meeting locals. I would absolutely recommend this stay."

"The Lookout was spotlessly clean and comfortable with views of the sand dunes and sea. There were many thoughtful touches in the apartment such as the welcome pack with Welsh cakes, tea, coffee, milk. Also some great games for those rainy days. The apartment was so lovely and we said this over and over. We appreciated the local artwork and posters .Everything was perfect. Being so central, it was easy for our young grandchildren aged 7 and 9 to cycle to Pembrey Country park with all its many activities and cycling the other direction to the gelato cafe in Elli Bay. It’s only a short walk from the apartment to the lovely sandy beach where the kids could let off some steam and play. We all very much enjoyed our stay at The Lookout."
